I have a varied life and work history, always very much guided by what has fired my interest and inspiration. I feel fortunate to operate in a beautiful intersection between the spheres of therapeutic, creative arts and community work - each sphere lighting up and evolving the next.
I spent 19 years a Director of an Arts Council Funded Performance Art Production Company, before moving to a Directorship of a charitable organisation supporting Neurodivergent Young People. I am an Art Director leading creative set design and installation projects for major music festivals, I run social projects for young people with SEND.
I have a commitment to the values of community and of equality. I know that when creativity is enabled, shared and expressed, it changes lives.
Humans are wired for connection, for co-regulation. When we are authentically held, heard and seen in spaces of safety by another or others - we mend, we thrive.
A healing community can be made for a day or for a lifetime, between two people or hundreds or people. If it's built on the foundations of kindness, non judgment, acceptance, curiosity and in celebration of diversity. Over many years of working with different groups of people from all walks of life, I have seen with my own eyes the extraordinary power of community for the wellbeing, development and healing of the individuals within it. This is a thread that runs through everything I do.
Bring in practices that connect to nature, to movement, to breath, to embodiment, to self awareness, we have all we need for our evolution.
I am a Certified Therapeutic Coach working in an integrative way (Dip Cert Clinical Hypnotherapy, NLP - Neuro Linguistic Programming, Coaching, Developmental Psychology, Mindfulness Teacher, EFT - Emotional Freedom Technique).
I am a Sound Therapy Facilitator and Ayurvedic Yoga and Shiatsu based Massage Therapist. I work with clients one to one, in small groups in person or online.
I run public and private groups, workshops and events offering sound healing, somatic movement, meditation and therapeutic enquiry, bringing all my knowledge, life learning and skills together to make unique bespoke healing and therapeutic experiences.
My therapeutic practice draws on a range of modalities that combine to form a broad, cohesive, holistic and flexible framework that is unique to each person. This is why I describe my therapeutic approach as Integrative.
An integrative approach has the flexibility to engage on multiple levels. In my work with you, we explore together how your experience presents in the mind, the body and the emotions. We gently explore the stories and belief systems, what was created in the past that influences your world view of the present, and blocking your potential for the future. Then we use what we find to empower your own way to fundamental, positive change.
