I have always been fascinated by people and behaviour – how we think, feel, adapt, and make sense of the world. This curiosity has shaped my personal and professional journey, and sits at the heart of my work as a Therapeutic Coach. I offer a non-judgemental, compassionate space where clients can explore what’s happening beneath the surface and reconnect with their inner resources.

I am a published author of two books. The Illustrated Guide to Dyslexia and Its Amazing People which brings dyslexia to life in an engaging and accessible way. And The Bigger Picture Book of Amazing Dyslexics and the Jobs They Do that features 64 interviews with successful dyslexics, celebrating difference, resilience, and creative thinking. These projects reflect my interest in how our minds work, and how challenges can become sources of strength.

In March 2020, my life took an unexpected turn when I got Covid and developed Long Covid/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. I was frightened, yet this experience became a profound catalyst for change. Looking for a way to heal, thankfully, I discovered the Super Fatigue Conference, and Dr Alex Howard (who I now proudly assist). In Therapeutic Coaching I found a framework that helped me understand my nervous system, my emotional world, and the patterns running my life. It took two years to recover, and today I am better than before. I am inspired to share this modality that helped me so deeply.

When we rush through life on autopilot, stress builds, emotional buckets overflow, and our inner resource cups run dry. Therapeutic Coaching gently brings awareness to patterns running, helping us notice the beliefs, thoughts, and behaviours that quietly drive anxiety, shutdown, or dissatisfaction.

Our brains are wired for survival, not happiness. Rumination tries to protect us but can trap us in unhelpful loops. But slowly, in a safe, supportive relationship, we can learn to sit with uncomfortable emotions rather than rejecting and pushing them away. When we feel safe enough to stay present with what’s arising, something shifts, and we can release old emotional charges and change our relationship to the stories we tell ourselves about the past.

Therapeutic Coaching is a trauma-informed approach that integrates Neuro-Linguistic Programming, Hypnotherapy, Developmental Psychology, Mindfulness, Time Line Therapy, Life Coaching, and Emotional Freedom Technique (I'm also an EFT International accredited practitioner).

I work with adults and support issues such as anxiety, stress, low self-confidence, unhelpful habits and thinking patterns, relationship struggles, lifestyle change, and personal development.

My belief is that everything we need is already within us, and from a resourced place, life’s inevitable ups and downs can be taken in our stride.

Together, we could explore where you are now, where you want to go, and what may be getting in your way. The intention is self-empowerment – equipping you with practical tools you can use whenever life feels challenging.
