As a dedicated Sleep Therapist and Therapeutic Coach, my passion is helping you rediscover the power of a good night's sleep. I believe that sleep is not just a biological necessity, but a state of deep safety and surrender. When the nervous system is stuck in "survival mode," true rest becomes impossible. That is why I offer a holistic approach that goes beyond standard sleep hygiene.
My methodology is a unique hybrid of the clinical and the therapeutic. I combine the gold standard of sleep medicine—Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I)—with the deep transformative work of Therapeutic Coaching, NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming), and Hypnotherapy.
As a practitioner trained in Therapeutic Coaching, I possess a specialized understanding of the intersection between sleep, stress, and chronic exhaustion (burnout/CFS). I recognize that for many high-achievers and sensitive individuals, the harder you try to sleep, the more elusive it becomes.
My approach focuses on:
- Root cause resolution: We move beyond symptoms to identify the physiological and emotional drivers of your insomnia, whether it is high-functioning anxiety, a dysregulated nervous system, or conditioned arousal.
- Rewiring the nervous system: You will learn practical tools to shift from "fight or flight" into "rest and digest," creating the internal safety required for sleep to happen naturally.
- Changing neural pathways: Using NLP and therapeutic coaching, we dismantle the subconscious patterns and limiting beliefs (such as "I am a bad sleeper") that keep you awake.
- Evidence-based structure: We implement personalized sleep windows and stimulus control techniques to rebuild your body’s natural sleep drive.
Background & Clinical Collaboration:
I have run my private practice since 2020 and have broad experience from the Volvat Sleep Center in Norway. My clinical foundation is strong, with a certification in CBT-I and Circadian Rhythm Treatment from the Norwegian Association for Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and advanced practical training via Learning to Sleep.
To ensure a truly holistic perspective, I am also certified in the Sleep Like a Boss method, which focuses on lifestyle, nutrition, and the principles of functional medicine.
Multidisciplinary Team:
I believe complex sleep issues require a comprehensive view. Therefore, I collaborate closely with medical doctors and a functional dentist to identify and treat underlying physiological issues such as Upper Airway Resistance Syndrome (UARS) that might otherwise be overlooked.
Combined with my education as a Therapeutic Coach and training in Rosen Method Bodywork, this allows me to address sleep from every angle—biological, psychological, and somatic.
I offer a safe, non-judgmental space where we work at your pace to turn your bedroom back into a sanctuary.
