Alexandra is a bilingual certified Therapeutic Coach and Health Coach whose work is rooted in the powerful belief that true connection to yourself - in mind, body and emotion - is the foundation for a fulfilling, joyful, peaceful and loving life. Fluent in English and Dutch she supports women across cultures in online sessions.
Her path in life has not been linear. Life invited her to some of its most challenging terrains: parenthood, expat life, chronic illness, menopause, divorce and bereavement.
Rather than turning away from these experiences, she chose to meet them with curiosity. Her own healing journey truly began after the onset of autoimmune disease and a bereavement, leaving her chronically fatigued, in pain and in a vulnerable mental state, struggling to get through her days. These events asked her to pause, to reflect and ultimately to reconnect with herself on a deeper level, uncovering patterns and limiting beliefs that weren’t serving her any longer. A combination of lifestyle changes and Therapeutic Coaching helped her to restore her health. These experiences have taught her how important it is to slow down, listen closely and to really reconnect with ones authentic truth. She discovered that even in the most difficult moments in life, there is an opportunity for profound growth, healing and transformation.
In her work as a Therapeutic Coach she is shaped as much by her professional training as by the depth of her lived experience, understanding how complex and unpredictable life can be. She encourages women to be brave: to notice what we avoid, to sit with discomfort without fixing or escaping it and to ask ourselves the more difficult questions to reveal what is really going on for us. She places great importance on kindness and compassion and helping clients build a new way of relating to themselves in a way that feels safe and sustainable.
Next to her work as a coach she supports women through the Zürich International Women’s Association (ZIWA) by collaborating in leading interest groups where they learn to become more mindful, present and connected through different creative activities. Her training as a photographer guides her in these activities. Teaching women to create visuals that connect to their inner worlds, allowing for more self awareness to grow. As a junior tutor Alexandra also supports the Therapeutic Coaching team.
In her mission growth is not about pushing ourselves beyond our limits, or striving for perfection. It is about honouring our humanity, including our vulnerabilities, our fears and our limitations. When we find the map of our inner landscape, we can have an authentic relationship to ourselves, which in turn will transform how we relate to others: when we are more aware, more grounded and more compassionate, we also bring those qualities to our relationships, family and our communities. This creates a ripple effect, one that fosters greater understanding, connection and kindness. When we feel connected, empowered and at peace within, we contribute to a more connected, compassionate and ultimately better world.
